Website Transfer FAQs
No, your original data will not be lost during the transfer.
Yes, as part of the transfer process, any email in your cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin accounts will be transferred. Furthermore, any mail clients setup using mail.domain.tld will continue to function.
Transfers are usually quite rapid. When you start a transfer, it will display as Queued; the normal queue duration is only a few minutes, but it might be longer during busy periods. There is no need for you to do anything else, and the interface will refresh as soon as the transfer begins. The time it takes to finish a tarnsfer depends on the amount of data and the number of mailboxes to transfer. The average duration is around 30 minutes. When the transfer is complete, you will receive an email alerting you.
Because we do not transfer domain names or modify or clone DNS, after the transfer is complete, you may test the website, change the nameservers to HostGrower, and (optionally) move the domain in.
